Each group session lasts 90 minutes

People stay in their group for different lengths of time. As one person feels ready to leave, someone new may join

What does it cost?

30-minute one-to-one online

Free

One-to-one sessions

£90 /session for individual therapy

Ongoing individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes

If you are going to join a group we firstly offer a few 1-1 sessions as an assessment to check that group therapy will be helpful, and then work with you on a 1-1 till you’re ready to join. The pre-group 1-1 rate is negotiable for people who can only afford the group rate

Once per week group

£150/month for 40 x 90-min sessions per year

Group members pay monthly and are requested to give a month’s notice before leaving. In reality, group members tend to give more notice than this before leaving their group as the ending is an important therapeutic milestone

Twice per week group

£250/month

As above, group members pay with a monthly standing order and as above, people leave when they feel ready, and talk about this in the group beforehand

Is group therapy for me?

A space to reflect

Group therapy works best if you are curious about who you are and how your past has affected you

How you might be causing the past to be repeated without realising or wanting it

And if you want to make space in your week for yourself

Especially valuable

If you feel you don’t really have a trusted supportive network

When you feel lonely, in yourself or ‘lonely in a crowd’

When you feel anxious socially or alone or just a bit lost or stressed

When you feel stuck in unhappy relationship patterns

When you feel down or uncertain and lack confidence in some areas of life

Maybe not for me?

Group therapy may not be the best way for you

It’s not always safe for people to ‘open the box’ if they’re struggling with trauma or mental distress

Speak to Anna if you have concerns, or just want to talk over what’s best for you
